need your help...I am in the last month of finalizing pieces for my July show...need to choose an image or images for a card and etc. Which image do you feel encapsulates the thoughts of the show (statement in last post?) Also, I need some feedback on the 3 x 36x36 inch pieces....are they done/overdone/what can I do to make them cohesive, etc.?? Need your help...no feedback or art group at this time!! Thanks for your help!!

maybe this would be a good image for the card!?

Your work is lovely as always and still just as I remember it: honest and true with spiritual ambition communicating a real interest in (and celebration of!) what it means to be alive! Very inspiring, I am impressed - you keep such a cohesive line throughout when it comes to subject matter. I tend to be more drawn to the rougher pieces that are not obviously "pretty" or seductive when it comes to your use of colour. Like the colour combos of blue/ochre to the blue/magenta...Good job. And good luck!
I think you have achieved cohesion throughout; the image at the top of this post, though, is my favorite, somehow seems to have all the elements. I am fascinated by the beeswax face ~ it's kind of creepy but lovely too. I want one! (I think ...)
Melissa, I love your choice of colors in all the pieces - my favorite is the one with the hexagons and the bee - but I also love the spirals esp with one with the moth but the one with the square shapes and the dragonfly...is that a nymph? Every time I look at them I see a color or a piece I didn't see before...they call you to look at them again and again...can't wait to see them in person!
I like the first one for your card image because you've got that black hex in there and it's an eye catcher.
