sister bee

this is on a 10 inch form. I formed the wings by pouring molten wax in a pie tin,and carving wings out after it hardened. The veins are carved in and darkened with paint....

this is on a 6 inch form....and might still be in progress...greens with shells and mesh...

hibernation of the hives--in progress

this is encaustic on a 12 inch form....took apart the old hibernation of the hives...and she took on a female form....

three pieces 1.5"x1.5 inch by 4 and 6 inches tall. All sides are collaged and decorated. They could be picked up and viewed. Another view is below.
