window still life

This is a cast-tape sculpture that I created over a 12" dress maker's form. Then, I covered it with Shellac. These may appear illuminated in my show in January as "guardians of the hive".

tree triptych

These are on 3 10x10" cradle boards. Imbedded are the transparencies with tree silhouettes. Originally I shot them with high contrast film and printed on Ortho-lith....back in the darkroom days. I experimented with using oil paint on the surface of the wax, then waxing over it and heating. Nice flow horizontal or vertical.
